  • What is Microcement?
Microcement is a versatile resin based coating, which provides a unique texture that is hardwearing, waterproof and heatproof, making it a perfect choice for floors, bathrooms, wet rooms, splash-backs and more. It is a hand applied coating at a minimal thickness from 2-3 millimetres, allowing a seamless and smooth surface leaving no joints or grout lines. Microcement comes in a variety of colours and can be customised in textures, replicating the appearance of polished concrete and natural stones. It is suitable for both interior and exterior applications, in high- end buildings, commercial and retail spaces, new builds and renovations.
  • How do you clean and maintain Microcement?
A care guide is supplied after your job is completed to help you maintain and care for your microcement surface. We recommend the use of plant based cleaners for your everyday cleaning. pH neutral cleaners can also be used with a microfiber cloth and warm water. Do not used harsh abrasive cleaners as this can damage or degrade the surface. Vinegar should be diluted. Regular and gentle cleaning, along with timely maintenance, will help preserve the appearance and longevity of your microcement surface.
  • What surfaces can you apply Microcement to?
Microcement can be applied over a variety of substrates, including existent tiles, concrete, wood, MDF, plasterboard, cement board and others. Given its durability and ease of maintenance, microcement is a practical solution for commercial spaces like shops, restaurants, hotels and offices. It can handle the demands of heavy foot traffic without showing significant wear and tear. It is suitable for both interior and exterior applications, in high- end buildings, commercial and retail spaces, new builds and renovations.
